Mod Wheel not responding

Using Artist
I want to set up Opus Orchestrator to use the mod wheel but when I create the targets in Orchestrator, and move the mod wheel, nothing happens.

How do I set up Cubase, or my tracks, or both, from the get-go to work with the mod wheel on my keyboard?

I previously did use the Quick Controls to assign CC1 or CC11 to the track and still nothing
