Hello again,
It would be fantastic if one could move the playback cursor via the overview instead of only being able to move the view location. ctrl+click, would move the playback cursor.

yes, I have commented about this navigation limitation before
If user has a selection tool active, the only way to place the playback cursor is a single left click in the spectral display or within the units tick strip below the timeline. I always use the tick strip because user can click-drag back to the left most area of the display without selecting anything. If user tries to place the playback cursor by dragging in the spectral display, a selection will occur.
Personally, I very often navigate by moving or resizing the Overview Bar and placing playback cursor in the timelineā¦I never use the hand tool. It is a lot of mouse work, for sure
really, Iād like the height of the timeline ticks ruler to be user sized to give more area to loosen up the accuracy required for this mouse work.
so you want the playback cursor to move as well as the Overview Bar display (zoom) via ctrl+lft click?ā¦relative to where the playback cursor was before the move? I guess that does make senseā¦I suppose markers could be used to keep your editing place if neededā¦
