Modulator environment is only capable of routing to within the track they are placed on as it is,
So it’s a bit of a miss that the Modulator Destinations aren’t stored with Track Presets,
ie
If I have the LFO Modulator assigned to a Filter Plugins insert, say it’s highpass filter on the channel… If I save a Track Preset and load it on a new track - the destination routing to the highpass filter is no longer there.
Seeing that the Inserts, and Modulators are saved with the TrackPreset… It would make sense that their connections to each other are also saved.
Also, I think Destination settings should be saved with Modulator presets, as sometimes the Destination parameters (uni/bi, -/+ amount, etc) are part of the users effect design. The Destination name would simply read ‘missing’ in red, and then the user would have to make destination assignments.
