So how about converting your vocal track to a video file and dropping that into Dorico 2?
Dorico is a Notation Software, or Engraving if you prefer. It was never advertised as a sequencer as far as I know. Those daw-ish features are to be added as the Notation side fills the holes.
Hopefully, the team will maintain focus on notation first: there are tons of very valuable sequencers already on the market while there’s nothing like Dorico on notation capability.
Wich doesn’t prevented them to add video support in a still early stage of developpement: that make sense for film scoring notation.
