Hi group, Is there a way to render in place a midi event to a mono audio file? It always renders as a stereo waveform. I played with render settings but it still comes out in stereo. I saw the old posts on here about it with no answers but those were from a few years ago. Any ideas? Thanks!

No sorry, this is not possible via Render in Place. Use Export instead, please.
