Please, Is there any chance that this feature will be in cubase ??
What bothers me more is that it was a feature in Cubase SX 1 if I’m not mistaken.
It’s so annoying when you have to add a stereo effect to a mono channel…

Absolutely. It’s about time, Steinberg!
I’m not sure they could do this for reasons of backwards compatibility, but they could make it so that a stereo track properly detects and handles a mono file, and then they could just make a “turn mono track to stereo track” feature.

they’ve almost done it with : Project / Convert Track / mono to multiple channels | multiple channels to mono
