in Wavelab 6 it was possible to convert a mono file to stereo just by dragging the (marked) mono file into a new window while pressing ctrl. This was very fast and easy. In Wavelab 7 this does not seem to be possible any more - or did I miss something? It would be nice to have this option back…
This is still possible, but now you must press “Alt + Control”.
I think it would be helpful to also make the mouse pointer change like it was in WL6, to indicate what will happen when the mouse is released: As soon as I moved a mono file out of the actual window in WL6, the mouse pointer changed into a mono track symbol. Pressing ctrl made the symbol turn into a stereo track symbol (and for stereo files the other way around).
