Montage - All Selected Clips - Copy Source Marker

For All Selected Clips -

  1. Copy Markers on the timeline are not functional. This could be because the developers thought about same marker on overlapping clips or could have been a feature that was forgotten to add.
  2. I think WL should have an option to copy source markers (even without having them imported into the montage).
  3. Similar to what I read in a previous post where PG wrote when Whole Montage is chosen, an option comes as Create CD Image and Cue Sheet, having an extra option to copy source markers would be nice.

It’s functional here (latest WL version and windows 10) and in fact just used that on a project yesterday.

Below is a montage created form file (import marker enabled)

And here is a clip with source markers (without importing markers)

If I understand your post, you have to use this function.

For example - there are 10 files with marker pairs on them

I import all these files with embedded markers to montage.

Whether I import markers or not, WL has to render these files with source markers for All Selected Clips. Yesterday I also test with WL12 but it is the same behavior.

In either case, the markers are not written on the file.

Or in other words, the Montage is working as a batch processor to erase embedded markers for “All Selected Clips”

I told you the solution in my previous post.
