I’m using Cubase 15.0.10.164 on MAC and when I record enable the automation it creates the track and sometimes records the automation on the lane, but the Moog Subsequent 37 editor & synth do not respond to it. Is anyone else having this issue? Or any ideas on how to resolve it?
Hi and welcome to the forum,
If you Record, you are recording MIDI data. As result, you will get MIDI Notes and MIDI CCs.
If you want to get automation data (moving plug-in parameters), use Automation Write [W] and Automation Read [R].
Hi,
Thank you for the response I appreciate it.
I should of said that I’m an experienced user so quite familiar with MIDI/Audio routing and automation. I have been using the Subsequent 37 and Cubase problem free for years until Cubase 15. I have been doing some research and I think it might be the VST3 version of the plugin that is the issue. I used the VST2 version with Cubase 14 but that is no longer supported.
Thanks
Hi,
On Mac, it is supported the very same way, as it was in Cubase 14. That means, if you are on a M processor, you have to start Cubase in the Rosetta mode. Then you can enable VST2 plug-ins support.
Thanks, I think I might have to go back to using Rosetta mode. I used it until recently, but when Lexicon finally supported M processors I thought I could run C15 without Rosetta. I think I might have to go back to it again. Appreciate your help!
