In the playback techniques I had seen Mordent Up and Mordent down. After messing with the techniques…, I no longer see the Mordent Up technique anywhere. What should I do to restore it in Dorico preferences?

If you created the playback techniques yourself, then they are only present in the project in which you originally created them, unless you clicked the little star icon in the Playback Techniques dialog to save them to the user library. Once they’ve been saved in the user library, they’ll appear in new projects when you create them.
