I love shortcuts and I love “ShowTips”, I use the “Tips” a lot to learn shortcuts, but in latest version of Cubase they are not consistent.
Example with “ShowTips” set in prefs:
Hover over the Auto-Scroll button and it tells you the shortcut is (F)
Hover over the Object Selection tool and it doesnt show the shortcut (1)
