I have another couple of VERY small bugs in the “export from Cubase / import to VSTLive” process.
My latest project export is simple. It just consists of 4 audio tracks and an arranger track. Importing into VSTLive works smoothly but the resulting song has two small flaws.
Firstly, a number of the bar marker numbers in the display are wrong, for instance one shows 3.4 instead of 4.1. The next one in the sequence is correctly displayed as 5.1. I set the end marker to one of these erroneous bar markers to see how far out it actually was, and it showed 3.4.4.119, so it looks like the bar marker is one tick out somehow! The screenshot shows the problem at bar 4, but it recurs at random intervals (6.4, 12.4, 21.4, 24.4, 42.4, 48.4, 55.4, 61.4 etc.). Screenshot below…
Secondly the song track generated by the import is much too long. The exported song is 113 bars but the song track is 285 bars long.
Both of the above are easily overcome, but annoying!
… I guess are you working with the latest Pre-Release 2.0.23?
… can I ask for Cubase Project file? I just need the cpr file? You can PM me the file. Then I can analyse the problems.
Thank you,
Michael.
… we (just) need the cpr file to analyse the problem. Can you, @HeinzOchsner, give me access to it?
Thank you,
Michael.
Hi Michael,
I sent you my .cpr file at the beginning of July by message. Happy to send it again if you didn’t get it. Sorry I haven’t followed up before … I have been tied up working on other things lately.
Dave.
Has been sent with private messaging …
Hi Michael,
It has been 3 months since this was first raised … has there been any progress on it please?
Dave
… that’s definitely too long. Sorry. I’ll check about the status and return to it. Promised.
/Michael.
