Can anyone let me know whether it is possible to use a Ci1 and Ci1+ together to increase input outputs in Cubase 6

Probably not if you use the driver that comes with the CI1, however the http://asio4all.com/ driver is free and should let you activate more inputs that you can setup in VST connections.
