Morphing wave files

Hi there,
I’m just trying to cut together two wave files - despite using the zero crossing option, I have a hard time finding the right spot where there’s no transitional click/bump at some frequency.

I’ve tried the “intteligent delete” function (Shift + Delete) but it produces a faded gap instead.

Is there a way to blend/morph files together so there’s no faded gap?

Use the audio montage feature. Drop two waves: this will create two clips. Then move one onto another one to create a crossfade.
That’s the easiest way.
