Mouse scroll wheel direction for values is reversed compared to my MBP trackpad

Hi,

Lost my BT mouse again and setting up a new one… Why can’t I get “natural” navigation direction with the scroll wheel AND natural value change with the scroll wheel at the same time?

Using the MBP track pad for scrolling the faders (not clicking and changing that way) it works like I want it to. Navigation is like sliding a paper around and fader and values go up when I move up. The mouse either gets the values right OR the scrolling right.

Is there a trick?

I’m using the Logitech m705 unifying wireless mouse on my MBP M1Pro on Ventura 13.1.

Best regards
Johannes

I think I could be down to that Logitech Logi+ software actually. Unistalling every thing about it and restarting the computer has me back to normal behavior again.

What you call natural is the reversed order to the world outside the Mac universe.
Normally that is not a DAW problem.

It should be possible to reverse the directions with that software installed. But it depends on the mouse model if the software is of any use at all.
