Mousewheel not functioning in Workspace with maximized Mixconsole

I like to set fader and pan with mousewheel but this doesn’t function when I open my Workspace in which the Mixer is maximized.
(It did in Cubase 9.5 and before)

  1. Create empty project
  2. Add Workspace
  3. Open Mixconsole
  4. Maximize Mixconsole
  5. Update Workspace
  6. Open other Workspace
  7. Go back to Mixconsole Workspace
  8. Try to change anything like fader, panner, with mousewheel - no effect

Strangely: It functions again when leaving Cubase and returning to the same Workspace…

Hi,

I cannot reproduce it here.

Once you call the MixConsole workspace and hover over the faders, can you see the grey frame of the faders (the focus is there)?

Yes, the grey frame does appear when hovering over a fader. But mousewheel does not function, even not after clicking on the fader and the bigger red frame appears.
I can move the fader with the mouse (or with Shift in smaller steps), but prefer mousewheel…

Can you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?

I now tried Safe Start Mode with disabled preferences, but this makes no difference.
(My global Workspaces are there in Safe Start Mode, is that normal?)
