Anybody experienced this issue? : from time to time, moving an audio region to cursor doesn’t put the region at its start on the cursor but a bit off? Like if it was snapping to a transient. Any idea where it could come from? It actually happens either in Nuendo or Cubase…
Sounds like your sync point is not at the start of the event which can happen when you bounce files with a musical time base (makes it easier to move them around on a musical grid and they retain their grid offset). Open the sample editor and move the sync point to the start or you can make a key command/macro to do this for you.

Thanks a lot for your explanation. I kinda figured out it had to do with a sync point, but I didn’t know that the sync point would come from being in the musical timebase mode. Awesome!
