Move Cubase Projects to F: drive?

Hi,

I would like to move my Cubase Projects folder to my F: SSD and am wondering if this is ok to do? Is it possible to then set Cubase to default to saving projects in the Cubase Projects folder after it has been moved?

Use the misleadingly named Backup function in Cubase to move the Projects to a new location on your F: drive.

Reading between the lines it sounds like you might currently be saving all your Projects in a single folder. If so, I’d highly recommend you stop asap because doing that will eventually burn you. Rather the best way to arrange things is to let each project have its own folder that is not shared with other projects (outside of simple variants of that Project). In the Save As dialog there is a setting so Cubase prompts for a location when creating a new Project

Yes.
