How do I move this stave to the previous page.

You need to select the final barline, an object at the first rhythmic position, and then perform the Make into Frame function.
If you make space at the bottom of a page by dragging the other systems up, Dorico won’t recalculate the spacee and move the last system back a page. The Engrave mode staff nudging is for minor adjustments once you’ve got the music onto the right pages.
The easiest way to make more music fit onto fewer pages is to go to Library > Layout Options, then Vertical Spacing, and decrease the relevant values. In this case, because it’s a part layout where each staff is actually a whole system, the main value you want to decrease is the “Inter-system gap”.
On a side note, you’ve got a text frame that says “solo” at the start of the piece – if that should be aligned with the first bar of music for the trumpet, I’d recommend not doing that as a text frame, but instead as a staff-attached text item (using the Shift-X input command in Write mode). If you don’t want to show that text in the score, you can hide it just in the score.

Yeah. That is what I had been doing when I first formatted the parts. I then extended the solo and Dorico moved the line to the next page. What worked, finally, was lay options “inter-system gap”. Thanks.
