Please create a ‘Move Track(s) to an existing Folder’ function.
It is imperative with large projects.
EDIT:
I’m looking for a function as per: Select multiple tracks → Function: ‘Move selected tracks to folder’ → New dropdown search window (or something to that effect) → type in the name of the folder you wish to move said tracks → name of folder comes up as per the search result → Perform move selected tracks to the selected folder.
I am not discussing highlighting tracks and putting selected tracks into a new folder.
Hiya, I’m looking for a function as per: ‘Move selected tracks to folder’ → New dropdown search window (or something to that effect) → type in the name of the folder you wish to move said tracks → name of folder comes up as per the search result → Perform move selected tracks to the selected folder.
Because I run massive projects and some tracks may need to be put in folders, moving them can be very time-consuming.
I didn’t realize we had the ability to do such a thing, but it seems to be possible after researching and finding this YouTube short. It is in the project tab, not where I expected it to be
Buddy, I’m trying to say that I don’t want to highlight a track or tracks and create a new folder.
I am referring to highlighting a track and moving it to an existing folder.
I could have a track at the bottom of the session that might need to go to the very top, track-wise. I have to click this track and physically put it in a folder that might be miles away. That’s what I am trying to say.
Like on an e-mail for instance, when you can perform a ‘Move To Folder’ function, I would like to have the exact same thing with tracks in Cubase Pro…
PS. Yeah, it’s film scoring work that I do, and some sessions have over 1000 tracks.
