Hello!
Holding Alt+Shift (Option+Command on Mac) lets you slide the contents of an event when you are in the normal track view, right?
Does anyone know if this is also possible within the Audio Editor window?

This is not possible. The editor has no real influence on the position in time.
You can edit a clip in there and move it afterwards in the project view in time.
