Im using a chord track for my synth and bass, I would like to move only my bass down 2 octaves, can i do that? or do i have to actually make midi notes? I have the chord track set to monitored. Thanks
Well you can’t lower the actual Chord Events that are on the Track. But you can modify the way they sound. On the Track that is playing the Chord Events in the Inspector’s MIDI Modifiers tab you can lower or raise the pitch. You can also use the MIDI Inserts to modify what gets played - for example with an arpeggiator.
Alternatively you could drag the Chord Events down onto a Track to quickly generate midi data that you can edit however you want. This will create a MIDI Part for each chord so I usually glue them together to make editing easier.
