Moving frames around in Engrave mode

Hi,
When in engrave mode working on an info page with multiple flows and text boxes on same page / how to move the boxes around?
I use 2 ways

  1. either click on the box / the squares appears and the option+arrows - or
  2. with mouse grab by the flow curtain
But both are not the most fluent way - I can see in videos that it;s possible to drag them around fluently
    How to?

You can drag a frame in its entirely if you grab it by the green edge of a frame, between the resize handles.

Can you move two text frames simultaneously?
This would be really helpful when dealing with aligned text frames.

Two or more text frames…

You can select multiple frames and move them using the moving shortcuts (with different modifiers for different amounts).

When you select the frames (and then command/control click to select the other/s), be sure to avoid the positions where the control squares appear.

I know you can select multiple frames. It’s the moving of them as a single unit rather than individually, e.g., Composer and Lyricist frames to be moved up or down retaining their vertical relationship rather than trying to calculate it or shift them to where one might imagine it is correct at sight.

OK. I have been able to move them. My problem was that I was trying to use the mouse for the job rather than keystrokes. Albeit, with a large score the response is slow and I was too impatient. Solved.

I generally use the Properties panel to size and move objects by number to make sure duplicate fields align precisely and have the same dimensions.

If I need to make a larger move, I may drag one field and then use the Properties panel to match the vertical location of the other.
