Is it possible to move Cubase to an external HD?
Or, at least, to move the heavy libraries?

The Steinberg Library Manager does exactly that.

Yeah - that’s what I do also - I use the library manager to move those libraries to a hard drive. It makes no sense to have those libraries on my SSD. There’s little to no issue these days with streaming samples from disk. Most sampler VSTs will let you set an amount of ram to preload too if disk streaming were an issue.

Thanks @digitallysane and @SuperG for your response. I am currently trying Cubase 12 which I’ve always known it will be my “home” for several reasons… I think this 12 is the iteration for me…
The Steinberg Libray Manager, I thank you for pointing me in the right direction, because by reading the manual I didn’t catch it up well because it is just a small mention that it exist, along with other documentation. I now downoladed it to check it up and apply it later.
