Is there a way to move highlighted/selected notes and rests between various percussion instruments without using copy + paste? I see how to do it with tonal instruments but cannot figure it out for the percussion piece I’m writing. Thanks!
Hi @ahart, if you are in a percussion kit, like everything else in Dorico: Option(Alt)+up or down arrow key.
If you have separate percussion instruments, click and hold the mouse on the selected note/s, move a little to the right or left (to unlock the movement between staves, or in other words telling Dorico that you don’t want to change the “pitch”) : now you can drag the notes to other staves.
