Moving the project folder name into the hub settings folder is a disastrous optimization. Many of us have a habit of having one folder per project, and this current arrangement forces me to click on hub settings twice to make changes, while leaving an audio driver setting, which isn’t frequently used, outside. Who frequently switches between their sound cards while working? Please revisit the hub settings in the next update.
I’m guessing that thread title is an awkward google translation. If you’re saying “Moving the Hub Location settings into the Hub Settings dialog is a disastrous change”, then yes, there have been a number of threads making that observation. Let’s hope Steinberg is listening.
Yes,you are right, that’s google translation.Because I don’t know how to describe it.This optimization is horrible. For developers, they are doing optimization. But it was a disaster for users.
lollll
I’m baffled and curious, too. What is the motivation behind this?Besides, if you need to add a tutorial at startup for the most basic settings, then there is something off, too.
This has too be reverted immediately imo.
Noone asked for this besides maybe an external UX-Expert without the insight of actual workflows. The only reasoning would be to keep people from making new projects and instead finishing old ones. Ha.
Is this a conscious decision?
That’s right, I even think that the 15 hub is designed by a non-professional, which is really confusing. The new features are hardly attractive, and if it weren’t for the user habits, I wouldn’t have paid for the upgrade this time
