Time signatures are moving down in Print Mode but show correctly in Write Mode. And of course print incorrectly
I use a template that has worked well and even after this piece. The time sigs were/are perfect. I always try to use a template since Dorico is a PITa to setup each time a new document is created. I tried several things. until I frustrated once again with Dorico. I think every possible setting for time sigs.
I found another guy with the same issue which he fixed by changing fonts but that didn’t help me.
So other projects from this template look good, but this one does not? You might try using the Library Manager to compare the two files, to see if there are differences.
I did but could not see any difference. I just changed the Time Sig font to Bravura from Academico and they look and printed OK. I had tried a couple other fonts which made no difference.
However, I didn’t change fonts from one document to the next. I simply deleted all the notes and text and project info, etc. again which did not do this on any other document. They all printed OK.
Although I a will be coming up on two years living with Dorico quite a bit of it is still a mystery so I don’t know if it’s me or if it’s Dorico.
Thanx for all your help you seem to be very willing to do so.

The Time Signature Font needs to be a SMuFL (music) font – Bravura is one, Academico is not. If you had this font style set to Academico, that was probably the issue.
If you want to use Academico for time signatures, then set Layout Options > Time Signatures > Time Signature Design to Plain Font, and then set the Time Signature Plain Font style accordingly.
(Don’t be fooled by the image accompanying that setting – it applies to all time signatures in the layout, not only when you have them set to “Show once per bracket”.)
