Hi,
the Cubase Export Audio function is for sure a great thing with all the options for batch export, naming schemes, etc.
Unfortunately there seems to be no way to let the ID-Tags für MP3 exports follow the (or any) naming scheme automatically - just like the filenames of the exported tracks/audio.
Am I missing something or is it really not there? And why?

Because it was not programmed yet. Seriously, it’s the best answer us other users can give you.
Well… that is a sad thing… that it is really not there ;o).
As for the best answers “us users can give”… we should never underestimate the knowledge and insights of some of the users here (Especially those who are close to Steinberg, like Martin J.)…I was simply wondering whether there could be a “techical” reason.
Obviously this missing thing does not bother too many users. So I am alone (again, naturally)… ;o)
There is no technical reason. And you are not alone. Search the forum and you will find other topics.
Steinberg has a very peculiar point of view when it comes to MP3 tagging.
