MR 618 + Octapre?

Hi, I wonder if anyone here is running a Focusrite Octapre into a MR 618csx via ADAT.
Will that give me 8 extra i/o´s to the MR? Can it run this way at 96khz?

Any other suggestions for getting a good sounding 16 i/o system in the same price range?

No you can’t. Only four channels. Eight only in 44khz due to limitations in ADAT. Thats why Steinberg should have added two ADAT ports on the MR. THIS is IMO the real problem. Not that you can´t send audio vi FW for direct monitoring.
