MR816CSX NOISE Only When CUBASE 6 is running

When I run Cubase 6 with my MR816CSX, suddenly there is a light high pitched buzzing that comes through my monitors.

When I run regular computer audio (Like from YouTube or Windows Media Player) through the MR816CSX, there is no nose at all.

I’ve been able to track down the source of the issue to the ASIO driver. When I adjust the samples latency slider in the Control Panel for the Yamaha ASIO driver all the way down the buzz becomes extremely predominant. Also adjusting it up causes the frequency of the buzz to lower. In addition higher sampling frequency rates also cause the buzz to increase in pitch.

My Firewire is isolated (not on a shared IRQ) and I’ve eliminated all ground loops, this is not a ground loop buzz issue. I have all of the latest video and audio drivers.

My system specs are listed below.

Hey did you resolve this? I have a similar problem. Audio is fine when Cubase isn’t running, then after I launch it, even the system audio gets buzzy, crackling, etc

Cubase 6.0.7
M-Audio fw410
OSX10.8.3
