I think you’ll hear mostly the MR’s pre-amps better. This has been the norm since I started looking into getting an interface 2 years ago and reading as much as possible. I got my MR a year ago and don’t regret it at all. There are other complaints about direct-monitoring with multiple units, but I’m happy with it.
