MR816x ASIO Audio Output to Optical... How?

Hi

I am using the Steinberg MR816x to play VSTi’s standalone and am trying to output the ASIO audio to the Optical or S/PDIF output.

Can someone please tell me how to do this, I have spent 3 hours with MR Editor this evening but just can’t get it working.
