MTC and Video

I’m wondering is it possible to send MTC to the performer so that they can see video playback using a third party video player application that accepts MTC? I see that you can send MTC out in the performer application preferences…is that sending the timecode from the engineer’s cubase session? Also there is no 23.98 frame rate?

Just wondering if someone can explain how MTC can be used with VST connect or at all?

upon further investigation it seems like the performer app does output MTC but it is not the same timecode as the original session from the engineer. And there is no way to offset it am I correct?

correct. We are preparing for a new version and will consider TC Offset as an option on the Performer side, but no promise.
