There’s still no multi-channel MIDI for guitarists, please fix it! Pickups of that type have existed for guitars for many years, we’re way behind!

MIDI guitar devices like the Roland GI-20 have been around since 2004, and Jam Origin about 2013. I hope this feature too to Dorico.
I don’t know about Jam Origin, but the Roland can be configured to transmit all data on 1 channel. Individual single-string pitch-bend wouldn’t function, I suppose.
And out of curiosity, how would you use all 6 channels for input to Dorico? I can see, perhaps, extending the caret over 6 staves but then you wouldn’t need 6 channels - again, just curious as to the workflow you think is missing.
This thread so far does not seem to have a question. For folks here to offer help (if that is what is desired), perhaps one of the original respondents would be able to post a MIDI export of a six-channel guitar file for us to look at.
No, it’s a feature request - multi-channel MIDI input.
I have added the tag for a feature-request.
IIRC, this has already been requested quite some time ago and by different people (which does not mean it’s not relevant, on the contrary — but the Team knows).
