Multi Keyboard setup

Sorry I have attempted to look through the forum to find the answer to this question but am frankly failing.

I am new to Cubase and digital music production, so please speak slowly and clearly to me

I have to midi controllers (both keyboards) and I’d like to run them simultaneously through Cubase.

Keyboard 1 - M-Audio Keystation 49e has both Midi I/O & USB (currently I’m only using the USB input)
Keyboard 2 - M-Audio Keystation mini 32 (Version 2) has only USB

I am running Cubase 7 Elements on Win7(32)

Hooking both up to via USB doesn’t appear to work, do I require a separate interface? or do I need to change the settings within Cubase?

Thank you for your time and sorry for being a little clueless.

Actually after I posted this I had another faff around and solved my own problem very quickly and easily.
Cubase recognised both inputs without issue & by altering the input source then clicking monitor I was able to play both keyboards at the same time.

I was going to delete this topic but thought I’d leave it up with my solution for any other newbies looking for the same answer.
