I wonder - how many of you, when mastering, will start a render and then open a new file and start working that one (with a new master section) while the other song is rendering? Have you noticed if that creates any artifacts or issues?
In the context of today’s computing power, the way WL works with Montages in the background and subject to what plugins you might be using … there’s no real reason you shouldn’t be able to do this
For me … old habits die hard and I still don’t trust digital enough to do this. The render times are low anyway.
Same here especially with client’s materials…
I do regularly, but it is VERY plugin dependent, moreso when involving 3rd party plugin’s, so you just need to know which ones may cause potential issues with background rendering and work it to your advantage
