This would be a fairly easy thing to implement. I use Apple’s trackpad with cubase, and bought it specifically to be able to zoom in and out (vertically and horizontally) quickly. To my surprise Cubase does not respond to multifinder zooms on the trackpad. I currently use a workaround in the form of “Better touch tool” but that is a clunky solution. Being able to natively quickly zoom in and out using multi-touch swipes and finger gestures would be wonderful.
