Is there a way to have multibar rest during a sustain pedal hold.
I try to sustain percussion instruments like tam-tams with a sustain pedal but I have long multibar rests between the events and Dorico doesn’t keep the multibar rest when I use a pedal through the whole piece (no line)
Please don’t create multiple threads for the same issue.
When you have a pedal line, it will break a multi-bar rest, regardless of whether its line is shown. If you want the playback effect of a pedal line without using a pedal line, use controller data entered in Play mode.
