I’m having a devil of a time with multibar rests. This is a newly created arrangement in Dorico, not an XML import. I’ve gone painstakingly through the Help manual, what I could find in this forum and via Google search. None of the signpost, delete barlines, properties, layout, setup or other guidance does the trick. This is a first effort from a long-time Finale user. Most of the Dorico processes have been reasonably straightforward, but not this one.
Image is supposed to show that no signposts are showing. In Engraving, however, section B and all subsequent multiple bars of rest will not work.
There is a Chord Symbol Region covering from bar 1 to 39. Show it by selecting Highlight Chord Symbol Regions in the View menu. Select it and delete it.
