How do I increase the horizontal width of a multimeasure rest in Engrave mode. I see where I can elongate the “H”, but can’t find how to horizontally widen how much space the mm rest is taking up in that line.
You can simply insert system breaks so that there are less bars on that system so this mutibar rest is wider?
Or use Note Spacing changes before and after (Engrave mode >Engrave menu) so that the bars before and after are smaller, or these ones (the rest ones) larger?
You can change the minimum width of all multi bar rests in Engraving Options.
If you want to change the size of one particular multi bar rest, in Engrave mode, select the Note Spacing tool in the left panel. Then click on the blue box to the right of the rest and use the usual keys to change the width (from the manual):

To increase the space to the left of selected handles, press Alt/Opt-Right Arrow.

To decrease the space to the left selected handles, press Alt/Opt-Left Arrow.

To move handles by large increments, press Ctrl/Cmd plus the standard key command; for example, Ctrl/Cmd-Alt/Opt-Left Arrow.

To move handles by moderate increments, press Shift plus the standard key command; for example, Shift-Alt/Opt-Left Arrow.

To move handles by small increments, press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift plus the standard key command; for example, Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-Alt/Opt-Left Arrow.

You cannot move note spacing handles with the mouse, you can only move them using the keyboard.
