Multiple Grace Notes in percussin staff

I am currently using a Percussion Kit containing 3 Triangles, set to use the 5-line staff presentation.

When I add grace notes at different visual pitches (corresponding to the different triangles), Dorico automatically groups them into a single chord at the same rhythmic position.

Is there a way to avoid this grouping behavior? Or is the only solution to use a chromatic/pitched instrument instead to achieve this notation?

Reference / in Dorico:

I believe this is currently a limitation in Dorico. To achieve what you want, you could do the following:

Add two grace notes on the middle triangle, they will appear adjacent. Then with Chord mode (Q) active (edit: that’s not necessary), add the lower note below the first grace note. Then hide the middle notehead in Engrave mode and suppress playback.

You could also enter the two grace notes in the same instrument. Select the second one:

And press Alt(Opt)+Up arrow

And Alt(Opt)+Right Arrow:

(You can swap the order of steps 2 & 3)

Also select the top grace note and alt/opt right-arrow with the grid set to 16:s

I recall reading on the forum that the alt+arrow method could produce inconsistent results.. is that also your experience @jesele ? I always use the hidden notehead method because that stuck in my head, but that might not be justified (not having to hide a notehead certainly is faster).

Not that I have noticed, but I haven’t tried that much.
