hi
i recently brought a nice plugin (i thought) from a wonderful company called “Acon”
one of those A.I. Apps that De-stem .
i thought wrongly that cubase would support its multiple out alas no , its just a protools thing (again)
any chance in the not too distant future, cubase may have this ? i can see that this may have many more advantages as just stem seperation .
obtw.:
the plugin i brought is full ARA compliant… so maybe .. just maybe it might work, also for that spectral layers thingy we have
Cubase does support multiple outs from VST apps, but not from plugins as far as I’m aware. It would need to be an instrument track like Halion, Sampletank or similar.
I don’t have the app, but I’ll try and see what the user guide says. That’s Acon Digital Remix, right?
yes sir it is
i know about the instruments , and i know cubase wont have the support for plugins (yet) otherwise we would have had it with the last updates (maybe for the spectral layers thing)
the work around is the same mute one bounce the other then repeat.
cheers
T
I’ve found Simple Stems to be the easiest and most effective so far, but Maschine 3 has an excellent stem extract facility. Very clean and quick.
okay , i will check that out
is that the N.I> one ?
This is the Simple Stems link:
Maschine 3 is the N.I. software that I think you can buy without the controller:
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/maschine-accessories/maschine-3/
You may be able to get the basic M3 software without the bundle that is in the link above.
N.I. Ozone does something similar to your Acon where you can ‘unmix’ audio on the fly, but that is OTT for your needs.
RipX DAW is another expensive option:
But this one can separate even more stems from your audio.
There will be others that folk on the forum could chime in with, but these are the ones I’ve personally used in recent years.
