Multiple selection using shift key

Continue multiple selection using shift key even when skipping one track.

This could be fixed like in other daws. Especially now where we can easily move channels in mixer it would be really helpful!

Which DAW, please?

Doesn’t really matter.

I would like to take a look at the behaviour of this “other DAW” that you mention in order to see how it is done there. Therefore I’d appreciate it if you can tell me which DAWs you referred to.

Check how it’s done in Logic Pro.

And there’s other issue associated: you can’t select several consecutive or not tracks using shift or option with an external controller. This happens since version 13. All other previous versions ran fine.

I just realized that what you ask for works from bottom to top in the track list, but not from top to bottom. Ie. if you start your selection on the bottom most track and then add tracks above it to your selection it works.
So it looks like there is a bug in Cubase.

@Dolfo I did not try this with MIDI Remote or Generic Remote as this is not my area of expertise.

It works indeed the opposite direction

I’ll try to bring this topic to Steinberg’s attention.
