Hi @maxenderm, no change for this (Dorico 6.1.10). The suggested method of creating a custom Playing technique (only once and forever, well until some other functionalities will be introduced) is quite easy, and you can then apply the dots with a click (or using the PT popover).
Alternatively you can change an unused articulation (make sure you change both the above and below one):
