Andre van Haren shared this on Facebook, and I thought I’d repost it here for those who missed it. Did you know that it is possible to have one project open in multiple windows (CTRL - Shift - T, probably CMD - Shift - T on mac)? This allows you to have a project open in Write mode on one window, while tweaking the midi in Play mode on another window. Everything you change or tweak in either window is automatically saved in the project.
An excellent workflow for those of us who have multiple monitors, and very useful for film projects.
