MusAnalysis question

I am trying to get better at MusAnalysis. I have a Bach Chorale and I am using the regular lyrics setting for the lyrics, but I set MusAnalysis to use the Lyric “chorus” setting. I am trying to get a pivot chord to work, but both lyric lines are stacking on top of each other. The stacking works correctly when I’m not implement the MusAnalysis (see pic), but when I switch to the “chorus” setting they stack up. Anyone know what setting I need to change? Thanks!

If you make it lyric line 2 and not chorus it should work.

Since he has regular lyrics, that won’t work.

You’ll need to make MusAnalysis “Lyrics (translation).”

Thank you for catching my careless oversight, Dan! Sorry for the confusion, @mbira.

I was planning on using the translation feature for my German/English translation.

I have selected line 2 in the chorus lyric for the bottom chord. Do line changes not work in chorus lyrics?

No, unfortunately. The “line” option is misleading for chorus lyrics, as it doesn’t do anything.

Thank you! I’ll make adjustments.

Since I have you, do you know how to make the starting “key indication” EX: “F: I” how to get that F to justify to the left of the first chord. I remember seeing it in the documentation before but now I can’t find it.

With one syllable selected, you can change its alignment in the bottom panel. Other than that, I’m moving in Engrave mode.
