If I change the Music font in a project, the name of that font appears in the list of Font Styles. See the screenshot.
Is this a known bug, or is something wrong my end? It happens on both my installations.
I get exactly the same behaviour.
This always happens when changing the music font through “Engrave/Music Font”.
When I change the music font through “Engrave/Font Styles/Default Music Font” this does not happen.
This is the expected behaviour. Dorico has to create a dedicated font style for the new music font as part of the operation to change the fonts, in particular so that any symbols that are explicitly mapped to Bravura rather than to “default music font” (of which there are a couple, though I can’t remember off-hand which ones they are) will be correctly mapped.
