I can’t get an instrument (player) that displays properly in the score to show up in its corresponding part- Instead it shows as Tacet. I’ve checked that the instrument is added to all flows, used the same layout options that work for other instruments (that do display). I’ve deleted the player and re-added and re-copied music in the score - but it wont show in the part. Propagating another parts layout does not work.
Tod, there is another thing to check: that your part layout displays the flow(s) you want.
Go to Setup Mode,
Select the Part Layout in the right panel. It will turn bright blue (and the corresponding player will be highlighted in the left panel)
In the bottom panel check the flow(s) you want to be displayed in that layout.
This should do it.

I Figured it out! - the problem was in the page template I had added (must have been messed up somehow-even though it worked for some instruments). The application of the templates is confusing to me( I’m a little less confused now).
