Music MXL import shows no notation

Hi, New to Dorico but not notation software.

I can open up a music mxl file in Dorico with great results but when I import the same music mxl file it shows no notation, replaced by multiple measure rests. I tried settings in Music mxl preferences but get the same result. How can I resolve this issue.

Hi. I’m afraid I really don’t understand what you’re saying. When you open the file, it works, but when you import the file, there’s no notes?
Well, then use what works (open the file, create your Dorico file, which you can reuse later if needed (via import flow), and share the mxl file with the devs so they can study what’s causing that import glitch. Have I understood the issue?
