I am new to Cubase and still finding my way around. I downloaded the Musio instruments but I’m having problems getting an instrument track with a Musio sample. Musio appears in the Media panel but none of the collections show up. If I add a track and choose Musio from the drop-down, it brings up the Musio interface with all the instruments but there is no way to actually select one into the track. What am I doing wrong?

If I understand you correctly, you try to directly assign an instrument coming with Musio, e.g. the Tina Guo Cello, to a track in Cubase. That’s not how it works. Instead, you need to assign the Musio plugin to an instrument track (as you already did), and then load the desired content inside this plugin so that it appears in the rack on the left of Musio’s Instrument tab.
So, all the content coming with Musio is only available inside the Musio plugin and its standalone variant. It works similar to HALion or Kontakt where you also load the sampled instruments inside these (player) plugins.
